  2. Now heat pressure cooker,put soaked chana dal,1.5 cup water,salt and turmeric powder.put the lid on and cook the dal until 2 whistle is released. Then reduce the heat to low and cook the dal for more 5 minutes. Later turn off the flame and let the pressure release..
  3. Meanwhile heat a pan add ghee to pan,then cumin seeds, now add chopped onion to the ghee and saut it till light golden colour,after that add chopped ginger, garlic, chopped tomatoes and green chilli, saut it till the tomatoes get mushy..
  4. Then add all dried powder masala to the mixture,mix it well and and saut till oil separated. Now add this masala to the boiled chana dal mix well bring to boil, then add chopped coriander leaves and cook for more 5 minutes on low flame..
  5. Before serving we will give tadka to the prepared chana Daal.for this in a small fry pan will add ghee and the put dried red chilli and 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder,remove from flame and add this tadka to the chana dal.
